Jefferson County Emergency Manager Keith Jeffers has made public the Kansas Department of Health and Environment report for July 20. It indicated that from July 9 to July 15, 37 new cases of the coronavirus had been diagnosed among residents of the county. The community transmission level for the county remained high and was increasing. The Incidence Rate for the county also was still high but it was decreasing. Finally, the percentage of available ICU beds in northeast Kansas hospitals was decreasing.
