The Aug. 1 meeting of the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners is technically scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. that day when the commissioners travel from the Information Technology Building in downtown Oskaloosa to the vicinity of 118th Street and Ferguson Road to view the proposed locations for two driveways in connection with a pending zoning case. Afterward, they will return to the IT Building to deal with the other items on the agenda for the meeting. The usual starting time for a BOCC meeting is 1 p.m.
The Aug. 8 meeting of the BOCC will take place in the Commissioners’ Room at the courthouse, which is currently being used for advance voting.
